Coming from a different instructor showed me exactly how amazing Leigh is!! His knowledge is incredible and made me feel very relaxed and confident in his teaching from day one. He showed me how to drive... not just pass a test. He has a passion for teaching and is proud of what he does... and he really should be!! - I would recommend him to anyone without a doubt.

The best instructor I have had by far (over the years I've had 4...!). Great style of teaching, Leigh is very patient, understanding and full of knowledge. The records you complete at the end of each lesson are very helpful. Passed my test first time with XT, after failing a few years ago and taking a break from driving. Definitely highly recommended!

Leigh is a quality teacher with the tools to get anyone to pass! Highly recommended, best in the local area in my opinion!

Leigh is a fabulous instructor! I was able to take the lessons in my own car, and he made me feel so calm and comfortable while learning. Passed first time with only 2 faults, and I would have had no chance without Leigh! I'd recommend him to anyone.

Manual driving lessons in Worcester, Redditch, Evesham and surrounding areas.

Learn with one of the countries top instructors.

For almost 20 years, I’ve either taken or trained and assessed drivers for the UK’s most demanding tests in either the emergency services or civilian advanced courses. I also and train people to become driving instructors, and upskill qualified driving instructors who need additional training to pass or improve their grade on their DVSA Standards Check as well as those seeking to become driving examiners and pass the DVSA Examiners driving assessment.

I hold the only DVSA accredited examiners qualification outside of the DVSA itself that covers the “Cardington” marking system, so I am trained to mark and assess faults in exactly the same way as the examiners on your test.

My qualifications are amongst the most extensive you will find in the Learner driver training sector.

Rated Grade A for Instructional Ability by the DVSA means I am in the top 24% of ADIs*  and I’m signed up to both the industry code of practice and voluntary continuing professional development – The three things the DVSA recommended you look for when choosing an instructor, and I am also rated Grade A for driving ability on the “Cardington Special Test” , the toughest test the DVSA examine.

I am a member of the Governing Committee of the ADINJC a trade body representing driving instructors that consults directly with the DVSA.

Remember, lots of cheap lessons and failed tests could end up costing you more than lessons that are a bit more expensive, but that you need less of.

Pass rate:

As of October 2017, no-one I’ve taught from scratch has ever taken more than two attempts at the test to pass the “L” test, approximately 82%  passing the first time. The average number of hours before test is around 25, however, this is an average an everyone learns at different rates.

Clients who have transferred to me from other instructors (often after previously taking tests with them) have again all passed first time with me, with only three exceptions, on an average of around 19 hours.

I also train drivers for some of the toughest civilian advanced driving tests.

The first time pass rate for trainees for 2016 is: 100% received IAM F1rst, 100% received IAM Masters Distinction, 100% Received RoSPA Gold. For 2017 its 100% IAM pass, and 100% ADI Part 2.

Intensive Course:
You can read about intensive courses here. I don’t recommend them, except for clients with previous driving experience.
