The two day train the trainer course has been created for ADIs that want to get started training PDIs
Delivered by A Grade ADIs and based on the key elements with the national standard for driver and rider trainers.
The Agenda for the two days is a mixture of in-car and classroom training and includes:
Joining the ORDIT Register
- Upskill your own driving with our Advanced training delivered by Police Advanced Drivers
- In car practical exercises on first sessions to be delivered to PDIs
- Understanding and delivering Role Play in car
- How the driving test is marked, assessed and delivered.
- Delivering your first lesson in car with a trainee instructor
- Helping the PDI plan for their Part 3
- Written Knowledge Check
- CPD Certificate
